ZUN Radio has switched networks and eliminated a short dead zone on the D1 motorway
ZUN Radio has started broadcasting within the Broadcast Services DAB+ network, resolving a long-standing issue with a several-kilometre signal dropout on the D1 motorway.
For this reason, ZUN Radio has left the Color DAB+ network, where it had been broadcasting until now. The newly launched Kozlov transmitter did not resolve this pressing issue with the D1 motorway, nor did it improve signal reception in the capital, which on channel 6A Color DAB+ has been subject to long-term interference from Poland, making uninterrupted listening difficult in the northwestern part of Prague. With the departure from Color DAB+, broadcasting on the transmitter in Plzeň, which currently covers part of the city, will also be discontinued.
A future plan is to secure ZUN Radio's broadcasting along the D5 motorway route to Plzeň and establish a connection with the capital.
